    First of all, it limits the blame to politicians and excludes oil companies and speculators. So this poll essentially makes people choose political sides.

    Second, it's kind of surprising that the Democrats were much more partisan than Republicans. I figured they would have similar results.

    I'm not sure what to make of it, but I can say with 100% certainty that the poll is useless without the other choices.

      Democrats and Republicans are pretty much equally partisan at this point.  Having results this skewed are a red flag.

      "Democrats, predictably, overwhelmingly point the finger at Congress (65-9), while Republicans (albeit by a narrower 53-25 margin) blame the president."

      Yeah, like one out of four republicans is not blaming Obama for anything.  I call shenanigans on this poll.
