was to tout the "We're paying for them to have sex" welfare-state gibberish.

And, it went terribly wrong :)

talked about 'not carrying water for the GOP anymore'?

Now, I see this as going terribly right ;)  Just inevitable that he would step over the line eventually.

Me hopes the line is too close to the edge of a cliff.  I am thinking we have reached Peak Rush and he will run out soon. Damages will still be significant :(

Hasn't someone started a legal aid donation for Sandra Fluke to sue him for slander?  I hesitate to push it because the stress of that could be worse than the slander. It just riles that when one gets away with something like this, another figures there will be no consequences.

        Greatest Hits Prize for today!

        http://crooksandliars.com/...

Yesterday Rush Limbaugh told his listeners that "I no longer am going to have to carry the water for people who I don't think deserve having their water carried", essentially admitting that he has been lying to his audience all along. Olbermann was quick to catch onto this: continued...
I read on DK today (somewhere) that Sandra is considering a law suit and I'm sure she would have financial support if she needs it; but, my guess is that there are plenty of attorneys just waiting for the phone to ring :)

I personally believe that the GOP politicians would be very happy to see Rush crash and burn.  He demands way too much from them and they look idiotic catering to him.

        •  The prize is that the memory banks (0+ / 0-)

are not all as depleted as they seem some days...

I saw Sandra's comments and wondered if the hesitation was mostly about being in the limelight and subjected to more of this filth. Not to mention how much precious time it can consume.  My experience with attorneys who are willing to work for probable payment and notoriety is: better to hire someone who gets paid ahead than trust the one that is counting on a settlement.

You think the GOP pols are that aware of reality? Frankly I wonder too. It's just that even the Dem pols can be really stoopid about what the base and center want versus catering to what they THINK we want. Hey, they might not get re-elected !
