    is ridiculous and embarrassing.  The notion that adequate health coverage-- and family planning is very much a health issue for women, as any review of historical records should show-- should be subject to approval by employers is nuts.  It's not just nuts, but developing-world levels of ass-backwardsness.  

    And what's worse is that the core issue isn't even sex so much as the drive to return to a master-serf, essentially feudal social order.  The company-store model of obtaining health insurance is a disaster and ties workers to employers tightly enough to qualify as subjugation anyway, but that employers should also have even more power to control and demean employees is more evidence of our decline.  I knew I was born in the most banana-republic state in the US (Mississippi), but never dreamed that they'd drag the rest of the country down to their level.
