In an anonymous venue, it's hard to tell, WHO the fuck anyone is, or what their motivation might be.

All we have to go on is the practice.

Chamber of Commerce shills tend to wax extremely rude, subjective, hyperbolic and ad hominem, shrieking insults and denials, diversionary rhetorical ploys, and providing little or no objective, reliable references...although they often do have a considerable arsenal of contrived, nebulous, obscure, more or less unidentifiable "sources" to "prove" their position, and may resort to techie geek talk, to "prove" how smart and informed they are, as they rudely deride their "enemies" as being stupid, crazy, disabled, or worse.

You wouldn't do THAT, would you mem?

    Trolling is as trolling does.

If you don't want to be called a freakin' shill, then don't be a freakin' troll.

Some rhetorical restraint, civility, and recognizable documentation will get you a lot further than insults.

This advice, from a hyperbolic dissembler like you, which you demonstrate all over this diary and comments, is hilarious.

The Greenpeace claim is incorrect, and poorly sourced. You called a farmer a drunk. And the shit you keep making up about China--after admitting you don't have much knowledge of them, is really astoundingly embarrassing for you.

You are a classic example of Dunning-Kruger. But you'll never know that. Alas.

      •  LOL!!1! Noo, YOU have "cognative bias", lol... (0+ / 0-)

It would seem we disagree on some pretty fundamental points, like whether Greenpeace is credible, and whether conditions in China, especially early on, were substantially manipulated and imposed by international monopoly corporate fascist imperialism.

Oh well...you may consider my rhetoric and perspectives on these topics provocative and even deplorable, but at least I have tried to avoid personal slander and attack, and even tried to present a reasoned response to such, from you.

Yet you persist in bringing hostile, rude, abusive personal remarks, with no material basis, and have FAILED utterly to materially refute my perspectives on the actual topics of discussion, which you barely even address, for all your obstreperous blustering.

Just saying...quit being such a dickwad, and maybe we could talk. Otherwise, gtfo.

And I have the credentials to know that you are full of crap. The problem is that you don't....ah, I don't have time to explain Dunning-Kruger to you. And as I said, it wouldn't matter.

Remove "techie geek talk" and that's a pretty good description of what you're doing in this diary.  Does that make you a Chamber of Commerce shill, or is the "techie geek talk" thing an absolute requirement?
