Do you think by now, March 1st, the American people are pretty much satisfied that Romney has no business being President and that we could just have a "pass" and save hundreds of millions of dollars on campaigns and just have Obama run unopposed?  Because I think this is going to be a huge waste of resources and the Republicans should just have a forfeit for the election.

millions?  Rich folks.  We want them to spend as much as possible on the election, to stimulate the economy.

Let's face it:  Lots of non-rich people are going to give money to the Obama campaign.   And lots of rich people give to Obama too.  How many solicitations have you received already?  Instead of spending money on a campaign why not give the donation to a charity of your choice (like your food pantry).  Campaign money goes to tv stations and radio stations and the rich get richer.  Money to charity in most cases gets spent in the community for the community.  The republicans at this point should know that they have no viable candidate and that the nuts who seem to be rabid in their quest for the utimate conservative will never be satisfied with someone with some moderate tendencies and  a tiny chance of success.  So they should just throw in the towel now.  I know it will never happen but still wanted to comment on the ridiculous waste of the money spent on campaigns.
