    you disagree with the content of a show on the station?  Lame.  I have no problem with your other suggestions, but that's a step to far, IMHO.

    Living proof that hard work can raise your apparent skill level.

      Deregulation took away just about any real possibility of a citizen having actual influence over the broadcast licensing process. I think I was very clear in the diary that a renewal protest will NOT actually result in a station losing its license. That doesn't happen anymore, and I agree with you that it shouldn't.

      But if there's no other eay to make your voice heard, you use the imperfect tools available to you. This is about the only regulatory tool left, and even if it's blunt, I think it's worth using.
