  •  No Republican Campaign Signage Has Been Visible (3+ / 0-)

in our region of NE Ohio. As I commented elsewhere, we voted this morning, I'd judge turnout as light but it's still early and cold. Should be 50 today which will allow right-leaning seniors easy access.

Turnout in our precinct was 50-50 based on my party voter count vs the total ballot count.

    Photo ID required.

    •  If they demanded photo ID (4+ / 0-)

you need to call your board of elections, and sic them on the pollworkers immediately. Photo ID is NOT a legal requirement in Ohio, and they are breaking the law.

Take the "Can't(or)" out of Congress. Support E. Wayne Powell in Va-07.

but do you have to present another document to verify that the address you are registered at is where you currently live.  A bank statement, utility bill, paycheck or government document is sufficient.  If you can't come up with any of these you can still cast a provisional ballot, but sometimes as we know provisional ballots don't get counted if the contest is not "close".

    •  Same in my part of Central OH (0+ / 0-)

I voted at 07:45 and the place was a ghost town.  We have about 4 precincts voting in one building.  No GOP signage at all.  I only went to keep my 100% voting attendance record intact and vote YES for a local school tax referendum.

In 2010, I paid more taxes than General Electric.
