    It was in Hinchey's. So if Hanna gained Binghampton, this would be a huge change in a swing district. His new district has a lot of other changes though, so it might all even out.

      as I recall it actually voted for the Republican (Phillips) in 2010. Still, with student turnout, it should behave better now.

      Also, WTF is with the 22nd's weird finger-tentacle thing into Tioga County? That just looks really unnecessary.

            Check out the old map and you'll see why I didn't notice the one here.

            That map was written by politicians, so things like party registration came into play. This one is not written by politicians and resembles a coherent representation of New York geography.
