    Analysis of Ds and Rs aside, this map (at least the upstate portion) is significantly more sane (geography-wise) than the suggestions by the state leg.

    Which I like.  Even if it ultimately hurts our side, I'm a firm believer that the districts should make sense.

      Create districts that make sense to have representatives that represent the populations.

      I live in Syracuse. Cayuga county is directly to the west of us. The northern part of the county was in our district, but the southern half was in a district based to our east, so someone from Auburn would have to drive through my district to get to the other side of their own CD. Not to mention Ithaca, in the heart of the Finger Lakes being in a district based on the Hudson Valley.
