    fist-fights at the republican convention.
    en serio.

Almost none of these contests have been conducted transparently and in an easily digestible way. The immediate MSM narrative has almost never seemed appropriate 48 hours later.

Republicans always fight(including each other) with extreme brutality.
    Extraordinary times.

i think you may be right... however i can't rec it because i don't actually want there to be people fighting.  especially these old farts that make up the republican party.  someone will break a hip.

    •  crazy process.. (6+ / 0-)

Hard to believe the crazy disorganized and inconsistent process the republicans are following. It seems certain to lead to major conflicts if the results are even slightly in question. Each state seems to get to determine their own delegate allocation often detached from things such as the primary vote or the initial caucus results. Further each state has wildly different rules as whether and for how long delegates are bound to candidates and whether the campaigns have a say in selecting those delegates.

Even ignoring the problems with the processes, crazy things are happening.

For instance, in Washington State 800 people (representing 2% of the state wide turnout) were turned away from a caucus site in one county due to lack of space! Absolutely unbelievable and barely noticed!

There are probably boatloads of issues of that nature lurking just below the surface waiting to become issues should this be close to the convention. Further, many of the republicans specifically are upset with the establishment both nationally and within the republican party so any attempt to exert any authority to resolve these problems is likely to be met with strong opposition even if the attempt is reasonable and unbiased!

This whole thing is a huge mess just waiting to be unleashed!
