  •  I think Inslee just has (8+ / 0-)

a name recognition issue since McKenna holds a statewide seat.

This is a good development and will allow Jay to get out there and make himself known.

    •  There is that too (10+ / 0-)

I'd like to think it's just that, but under the circumstances I'd rather not hold anything back. My dad told me once that all Inslee needs to do to beat McKenna is stand next to him in public -- Inslee is built like an overgrown college frat-boy who played basketball in college, while McKenna is short, reedy, and looks like nothing so much as the annoying nerd that even other nerds didn't like that much in high school. That may be true, but if that's all we win the election on, I will be embarrassed.

I am looking forward to Jay getting out there. He's good at glad-handing and talking to people. Once more people start seeing him, I think he'll not fail to make an impression.

start listening to Inslee, and his vision for Washington, they will vote on the merits rather than the appearance.

And I hope that McKenna will be exposed for the wolf in sheep's clothing that he is.  He is nothing more than the same old Republican establishment, benefit the rich at the expense of the poor, and claim you are doing the right thing to low info voters who don't see through it because, dammit, their lottery ticket just might make them rich.
