  •  RTD is pretty awesome. Growing up in Phoenix, (0+ / 0-)

there was minimal bus service, especially on weekends, with ZERO bus service on Sunday.  Like the bus-riding working class all had Sunday off or something.

I didn't have a car in high school (or afterwards, for awhile).  My friends lived primarily in suburbia.  It wasn't easy.

So moving to Denver for college was a massive upgrade buswise.   "I can take a BUS...  to BOULDER???"   The word Squee didn't exist then, but that was how I felt about RTD, & that's 20 years ago.  When FasTracks starts to open up, I'll ride those lines at least once just to check it out, even if I don't need 'em.

I'm kinda lookin' forward to being able to take the bus again, as I look for my next job (recently unemplyed by choice).  I'm done with driving all day for awhile.

Glad you are in a good place these days, Shiz!
