Just last night we all got to watch the pretty documentary (it really IS a documentary... they keep telling us that so it's true) about how Obama is the best president ever. Which is exactly what we all needed, of course... with the campaign season if full-swing, it's important to remember that Obama IS, indeed, the BEST!  But now this? This cartoon? How on earth are we supposed to keep up the good ole campaign spirit when you keep reminding us of all the somewhat, just a teensy-weensy bit less than perfect aspects of Obama and his presidency?

My disagreement on this issue is really that superficial. No complexity to it at all. It's all about blind loyalty./snark

Isn't it true that if this was going on under Bush, that hardly a single person on this entire site would be supportive? I mean given the exact same circumstances... you think people would support this?

But there were many of that were arguing that his lack of focus on AQ in Afghanistan was evidence of how cynical his policy in Iraq was. And a lot of us argued that what Obama is doing now should have been done starting in 2001 with the info bush had and with the recommendations Richard Clarke was making at the time.

...& because we've all seen people say that kind of short-sighted crap by now.

Campaign season is precisely the time to bring this up.
