  •  I have said this before, and I will say it again. (20+ / 0-)

I am 60 years old, and I really hate the AARP. They seem to be interested primarily in selling insurance supplements. No one organization can represent all Americans over 50. The needs of those of us who are still working are very different from those of the old old. My mom passed last fall a few weeks before her 93rd birthday. she relied heavily on SS and Medicare. She had very severe health problems for two years before she died. I am still working, and I still have a kid in college. Retirement is not even on the radar screen. I just want SS and Medicare to be there when I need them.

    •  I'll say it again, too. I hate the AARP. (4+ / 0-)

I'm in my late sixties. I told them last time they did this shit that they could forget about me forever. I've never had a mailing from them since.

Yes, they are only an insurance outfit. And they do not have our best interests at heart. They are out for the AARP only.

The radical Republican party is the party of oppression, fear, loathing and above all more money and power for the people who robbed us.
