  •  I'm a fellow cat owner and I'm sorry for your loss (8+ / 0-)

and I don't blame you at all for doing what you needed to do to give Annie a home..Thank you for giving a kitty with an abuse background a good home. I'm glad she was able to enjoy life some.

And some cats are shy. My cat is shy, and can get nervous if there's company but very curious and into everything.

At this point, far more people have now been arrested for protesting Wall Street's mortgage fraud crimes than have been for committing and presiding over them.

    •  To be fair, we didn't really realize (6+ / 0-)

that she'd had an awful life pre-us.  We just knew that she was 6, had been left there and that someone else had adopted her and then brought her back.

What I didn't put in the diary was that in her paperwork from the Humane Society was somwething that we missed when we adopted her.  Her paperwork said she was a biter.

I can't tell you how glad I am that we missed that.  We might not have brought her home.  The fact that they listed her as "a biter" tells me that she had a bad early life.  She was NOT a biter.  She only would have bitten if she was being harrassed or mistreated. :-(

Chin scratches to your cat(s).  :-)
