am laughing my ass off that the right wing nuts brought this case to the Supreme Count.

Now we know the Court ALWAYS rules in favor of the corporations.

And if they rule the mandate is unconstitutional then the blood sucking health insurance companies are in deep trouble. They will HAVE to get Obama care overturned in congress.

They are really in a bind on this one. Go with the corporations and piss off the Right Wing base or strike it down and perhaps deal a death blow to the blood sucking insurance companies.

HA HA HA HA HA HA

declaring the mandate severable would kill the insurance companies.

but so would declaring it unseverable and killing the ACA at this point.  for one thing, good luck getting all the funding already disbursed back.  haha!  for another, people have had a taste of the medicare expansion, no rescission, no lifetime limits, preventive care with no co-pay, etc.  and if anybody thinks those people are going back, they're hopelessly clueless.

just try repealing the whole of ACA.  i double-dog dare them.  it's already made enough of a difference in enough people's lives that there is just no going back.

Never forget that the Republican War on Women originated with religion; the GOP is but theocracy's handmaiden.

The mandate was the entire point of the bill. The Democrats just looked at the rest of the bill as a political loss leader so they could get what they really wanted: the mandate. The point all along was to force American citizens to give money to private corporations, because those corporations control the Democratic party.

If the mandate gets struck down, you can bet that the rest of the bill will be repealed faster than you can spit.

that the mandate absolutely will not be struck down. The same Supreme Court that gave us Citizens United will fall over themselves to uphold the mandate, because it brings about a massive transfer of wealth from American citizens to private corporations.
