I just want to wring the necks of the idiots who say, "it's not climate change we're challenging, but the thesis that it's caused by humans."

WHO CARES if it's caused by humans, the beat of a million butterfly wings or the whims of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (Blessed be his Noodly Appendage)? We are all on a crash course to burn up.

Let's put some scientific rigor in a new Manhattan Project and get this thing fixed!!!

Means caused by oil and coal.

Caused by oil and coal means cutting into their profits.

I know that's obvious for people around here, but elsewhere, apparently not.

because if it is not man made then they can keep taking money from the oil companies, ignore environmental issues, etc.

If it is just a 'natural' thing, there is nothing that humans are doing to make it worse.  And then there is nothing humans can do to make it better.

We should consider an all out campaign against this stand.  Not one that pushes the science, but one that speaks to their base.

We could shout out about American Exceptionalism.  We put a man on the moon for pete's sake, we can surely fix the weather !  Why do the republicans think American's are not smart enough, dedicated enough, to solve this important problem.  Why it is un-American.

      (this is only half snark)
