  •  Just a gorgeous diary! (7+ / 0-)

I very much miss the Boston Public Gardens when the tulips are up and the fruit trees are in bloom. I used to walk an extra stop from Beacon Hill to Arlington St. (instead of using Park St.) Station on my way home from work just to walk through the Gardens when the trees were in bloom. Right over the smallest chain bridge in the world and down to that great statue of Gen. Hooker. Or is it George Washington, I forget, but they're both there on horseback with an eternal view of one of the most beautiful public spaces in the world.

Thanks for sharing D.C. spring with us. Much appreciated!
