    On the one hand it noted that a Black neighbor read Zimmerman's warnings to the neighborhood seemed to always include "Black" and decided to do all his walking outside of the neighborhood for fear that Zimmerman would mistake him for a prowler. On the other hand it quotes another Black neighbor as saying they would trust their life with Zimmerman and mentions a gathering in which two young Black boys were invited by Zimmerman and how they both described him as his mentor.

    My take on this is that while race was a factor, mostly this is about a paranoid guy with delusions of grandeur who is a sane nation would never had been allowed to get his hands on a gun much less be empowered to carry a concealed weapon.
