    donate to Republicans who voted in various legislation that would appear to be diametrically opposed to the positions he ran on?

    Why would he give them money? Because he's "friends" with them?  Is that an okay reason to do it?

    I think it's a legitimate red flag.  Or a "blue dog" flag, as the case may be.

    If he wins, it won't take more than a couple of months to see what we're dealing with.

      His stated reason for contributing to them was that they were pro-Israel, and at the time, he had a position in AIPAC.

      Most of us here are plenty unhappy about both the fact that he made those contributions and also that he made no apology or further explanation, but his reasons are clear.
