Zimmerman shot that child twice, with a pause long enough for Trayvon Martin to scream bloody murder in between. Presumably(ballistics will verify for sure) Martin was no longer standing after the first shot. Immobilized and screaming, he was not possibly any sort of threat to his murderer. Not that he ever really was a threat to begin with.

What is Geraldo Rivera's advice for not being executed in that circumstance?

My understanding is that there was only one shot.  If there were in fact 2, it is something extremely important for those of us twisted lawyer-types who are trying to mentally game out where we think things might go legally with this case.

My point was more to suggest that if there had been two shots, in Geraldo's mind, Trayvon Martin would have still deserved being executed as he would have still been wearing a hoodie.

Although, looking at my wording, it may have been during the brief period that I was under the belief that the screaming before the shot heard on the 911 tape was due to already having been shot.

Sorry for any confusion. Lawyer away...
