    I would estimate at least 350 days a year are hoodie days in the Puget Sound area.  At least in the morning or evening.

    My kids LOVE the zip-sweatshirt types with longish fleece lining when it's cold, but have unlined hoodies of varying weights for regular cool weather.  

    Plus, when it is a point of civic pride to NOT use umbrellas, and it rains, sprinkles, mists, or some similar wet-air condition on many days, you wear a HOOD!  

    The wealth of the 1% has taken away the power of the ballot box of the 99%.
