  •  a Bolton selection (0+ / 0-)

would immediately scare off a lot of people Romney needs in order to win, namely moderates and suburban voters (particularly women). I am confident that Bolton would probably not be well received by the media (imagine his first speech after being nominated).

Furthermore, short of Rush Limbaugh himself, I can't think of anyone who would provide a better contrast for No-Drama Obama than Bolton, whose entire public persona built out of high-volume, self-righteous rage. I'm pretty sure Republicans are going to try to do anything they can to run from GWB-era foreign policy and Team Obama would have no trouble at all tying Mitt to neoconservatism w/ the Quivering Mustache of Hate on his ticket.

A Biden vs. Bolton VP debate would be pretty damn entertaining though....

exception: analogy subprocess error #09: analogy too deeply nested, analogy will be aborted so please vote for me, because these larger than average pancakes are quite impressive.
