    I've had lengthy conversations with a  conservative acquaintance who maintains that the Supreme Court can be wrong about a law's "constitutionality."  I know it makes no sense whatsoever, but he has the Constitution in the same mental space as the Bible, as in, it's a straightforward text and means what it means (according to him).

    So a ruling by the SC may mute but will absolutely not stifle cries of unconstitutionality on the far right.  As far as they are concerned they are the judges of constitutionality, not the SCOTUS.
