    There is no support cited for the claim that the father is a retired Florida judge, and all we have for the original claim that he was a Virginia magistrate is that George put it on an application.

    The closed arrests claim appears to be true, but the father seems to have no connection to them.

      that people would know his father was a retired magistrate - after 46 calls in a year to 911. GZ had a reputation with local law enforcement, but that was overlooked - why?

      I would have thought 46 calls might get you cited for wasting police time - especially if these calls resulted in virtually no arrests.

      I really think the local powers that be thought the whole thing would blow over. Another anonymous black kid was dead - stuff happens.

      Then somehow it caught the attention of the nation.
