    Because the republican plan is so much better, they'll just beat a path to their door rather than vote for Obama. Get real.

      was our loss in 2010. Not so much because "people" beat a path TO the Republicans, but broad categories of Democratic voters were too discouraged to turn out.

      Everything the Republicans have done since then is to continue what they were doing in the runup to 2010 because they think they can do it again.

        In 2008, this was already highly geared up and visible. Now, not so much.  I'm not sure why...

        With the voting barriers that have been erected, extra effort also needs to be made to ensure people will have the necessary IDs and have re-registered if they have moved.  We should be working hard to make sure that all those likely Obama supporters who turned 18 since Nov 2008 (which is several million voters) gets registered in plenty of time for the election.

        It seems as though we have a paralysis resulting from either hopeless negativity or unquestioning, blissful optimism.
