and for all we know, they might say exactly that.

Wow, truth in advertising -- that would be a first for the Texas GOP.

state motto:"Mississippi But WIth Better Roads."

Of course my state rep here in Auburn GA wants to ban miscarriages for any reason after 20 weeks--even in the case where the fetus is dead but hasn't been expelled--because cows pas stillbirths on hsi farm all the time. He's an agriculture major from UGA,and apparently doesn't realize (1) that women are not cows and (2) the decision of how to handle a fetal death in utero is a MEDICAL decision to be made by the woman and her doctor--and making it for her when you are not a doctor is called practicing medicine without a license which is a crime.  I think he's bidding to take up Bobby Franklin's post as Most Colorful (which is Southern for "The St. Joseph's Home for the Terminally Bewildered is Transferring Him to the Secure Care Facility for People so Crazy Mean That the Only People Who Will Have Anything to Do With them Have to Be VERY Well-Paid" just as soon as there's an opening) GA Politician.

it should read "wants top ban abortions" not "ban miscarriages"--though I am waiting for him to try to bring back Bobby's old legislative proposal where every miscarriage must be investigated as a potential homicide (since he's banned abortion completely) by police.

I've been keeping up with Bobby Franklin's escapades for years, and he never disappoints.

But hey, congratulations on seeing that 20 week ban fail -- even if it was for the wrong reason.

I am pretty sure the late unlamented (even by fellow Republicans; he was THAT crazy that his amendments  guaranteed a bill would fail) held that office, so there's likely an opening for Terry ENglund.

And it didn't have to torture the language to make it fit, as so many intentional acronyms do.

Women get to compete in baking and cooking competitions, their main use to soem men.

We already have Blue Ribbon comps for looks. They're called beauty pageants, and the ones down here start around age 8 (I know there are others, but these are the local ones ). Two ofmy nieces were in Jr. Miss Buford, and the older sister was in the high school version, Miss. Buford.
