  •  That's hilarious. Who? Certainly not you (5+ / 0-)

When they kicked the single payer advocates out of Max Baucus's HCR meeting, you said nothing and made excuses for it.

When people posted videos of Obama campaigning for single payer for his Senate run, you said, "leave Obama alone!"

    And you never supported Kucinich.

On top of all that you spent all your time killing single payer by unquestionably supporting everything Obama did(who made sure it never ha a chance), so people were forced to push for a public option which you worked all year to kill.

Despite your "statements of support," while supporting Obama and making it impossible which mean aboslutley nothing because we can see yoru actions.

Take your pathetic psuedo parliamentary diaries for instance. A budgetary item that was cored was something you pretended couldn't pass reconciliation so I can't imagine you would support single payer if it was scored, because you never showed the intellectual curiosity to learn about real parliamentary procedure. You had an anti single payer agenda the whole time.

No no no. Public option advocates didn't kill single payer, you did by unquestionably supporting Romney-Heritage Foundation-Dole-care.

Talk about the greatest revisionist Daily Kos story ever told. Dr SteveB was a consistent single payer supporter. You were a consistent Obama supporter of whatever he said you supported during the health care debate(and you totally fell in line like OFA did). I was there. I remember and you're full of it.

    •  oh how cute...hopping into dead threads (0+ / 0-)

      to flip me grief.

well, here it is, priceman, pixelated in black and white for all posterity:

true enough.  Public-Option is the best path to single-payer.

but it's also true that public option is the compromise position.  and it is way too early in the game to adopt a compromise.  we have to push, push, push for single payer so that the eventual public option compromise is actually meaningful.

besides, it's a venn diagram thing; the overlap between "supports public option" and "supports single payer" is basically the entire circle.  if congresscritters consistently hear demands for single payer, they bloody well know the public option is feasible.

and there's nothing saying we can't do both, anyway...

if you're going to play, bring facts.

Never forget that the Republican War on Women originated with religion; the GOP is but theocracy's handmaiden.

      •  Dead thread in my diary, get the same (0+ / 0-)

        besides, that proves absolutely nothing.

Despite your "statements of support," while supporting Obama and making it impossible which mean absolutely nothing because we can see your actions.
You're just like many in the House who said they supported HR 676 until it was time  to bring it up for a vote came up then they were nowhere to be seen. What I said is factual because you have no comments decrying Obama for his flip flop or ceding all control to the Finance committee which kicked single payer advocates out. Your meaningless fraudulent support for single payer can't be proven by a meaningless hollow comment you made.

        Those aren't facts.
