    Yes, Flynn was a poor choice, and was made with the obvious tactical calculation that the Republicans in the Senate would not/could not oppose him, and that he would wind up as a recess appointee in any event.

    It is a good example of the cynicism and uber-partisanship that both the White House and the Senate have been treating NLRB appointments.

    And Schaumber is not a "staffer" to be hired or fired. He is an "advisor ' and a fundraiser not on the campaign payroll.
