      fetus, fine - but you cannot try and argue the status of a fetus by referring to already borne persons.

      You are mixing apples and go-carts here.

      Besides which, my argument carries two conditions:

      a) it is no longer inside the mother

      b) it is no longer on a life-support system

      Your example does not fit the criteria I laid out.

      ...nobody, severely disabled or otherwise, can force you to give up control over your body against your will.

      Say one day you an adult man knocks on your door. You answer, and he tells you that he needs one of your kidneys -- only yours will do -- for nine months, give or take. Unfortunately, some painful medical procedures will be involved as the kidney is exchanged back and forth. "But you have no choice." He says. "Otherwise, I will die."

      Now of course, he is wrong. You do have a choice. No one has the right to usurp use of your body for their own purposes against your will. Other people might think you're a horrible person for refusing the stranger, but no one should question your right to do so.

      Prison rape is not funny.
