    even if I don't agree all the way. It's always good to feel that someone has engaged with what you've written.
    First, maybe Al Gore has been changed by his foray into management.Studies have shown that news management is often not as liberal as reporters or on-air talent. But I definitely don't know what's in his head...if there is a lawsuit there will be more opportunity to speculate there, for good or ill.
    Second, although your point is well taken(and I wasn't trying to imply that KO will play out the whole destructive McNulty drama...he's smarter than that,) there are ways in which it seems they take similar pleasure in pushing people's buttons and stuff.
    But I'm fond of old Bushy Top--I think his main problem is that he's sort of a cowboy in an era with no room for cowboys.Or, you know, the movie cop who "gets results by playing  by his own rules" transplanted to real life.
    But, yeah, Rachel can be Lester, even if she has an innocent face like Pres.
