    However, ultimately, it's not their bodies which are personally affected.  ...and risk-taking (much like healthy younger people who may choose to forgo health insurance) isn't at all unusual.

    Rejection can be over-come with relative ease.

    Paternity may cost a man $$, but it need not cost him his time and attention, if he so chooses.

    STDs...yes, you'd think so...but condoms aren't that expensive and you don't need a doctor's "note," etc. ...worst-case scenario is a locked pharmacy cabinet and a crotchety pharmacist who may give you the stink-eye...
