  •  How stupid is his audience? (12+ / 0-)

To think that the entire UC system doesn't offer a single course in American history? How is that even believable? This must be a really dumb and miseducated crowd.

    •  If Rick says it, it must be true. (3+ / 0-)

After all if you're a Tea Partier, it would nigh to sacrilegious to question your divinely anointed theocratic candidate about his divinely revealed "facts".

Liberals think the glass is half-full. Conservatives think the glass is theirs.

    •  The mere *mention* of the UC system (10+ / 0-)

is so freighted with forty-year-old vague stereotypes of UC Berkeley hippies in leather fringe jackets, and of uppity feminists  (who Southeast Missouri State U freshman dropout and ass-deferment winner Rush Limbaugh still calls "coeds"), that a wingnut demagogue need only speak generally of the system.

He was one of the original cast members of Berkeley hippies vs. the National Guard (no fringe or tie-dye, though).

Not sure if UC is going to dignify this with a response; they could urge Santorum to take this freshman-level history class in summer school, as he could surely use it.

believe in evolution, and that our President is an American, and practicing Christian.....

      What was your question, again?

Anything is possible, and not for the better either.

They are voting for Santorum.  It doesn't get much worse.

      probably believes

President Obama is Muslim and is secretly rewriting the constitution.

Rush Limbaugh is smart; a modern day matyr.

President Obama is not really a U.S. citizen.

      President Obama is the anti-christ.

I can go on and on. We all could. It would be easier to list the things Conservatives do not believe.
