    froze the buds on my apple tree. I won't be around to deal with it. The new owners will get a reprieve from apple harvesting in the 'burbs and decide if they want to keep it.

    I will leave the suggestion that another apple tree might be a better choice...

    I appreciate Magnifico doing this. I had seen the article and was very impressed. Left a comment on Weatherdude's diary yesterday. It wasn't something I am qualified to diary - this adds a lot to the discussion.

    I am really pleased that there is a reasonable and clear voice out there. As critical as the situation is, Douglas struck me as someone who has what I consider a true understanding of Jesus' teachings and therefore can connect with many who are facing the same experiences with growing awareness.

    No one will convince the 25 percenters. If we can get over 60% of Americans supporting serious, effective legislation as soon as possible, we increase the mitigation that can be accomplished. That is the most I can hope for. There will be plenty of change and damage that we won't prevent. Preparing to live, work and survive around that is going to be the rest of the fight.
