by itself, an indication that he's in trouble. If he was asked to come in for a seance, he would have been given a 'target letter' explaining that he is the target of a federal investigation. If so, and his attorney let him go into a grand jury (or even a debriefing),  Scotty needs new counsel.
He's a turd, but he's still the governor and if he is to be made a target, the Public Integrity section of Justice must first review the case and give the nod.
He could be a subject, as opposed to a target, but I still would not let him go in to either a G/J or an interview. I'd make an offer to proffer all info as his counsel.
But one never knows how these things will play out. Hopefully he's been given immunity, brokered or force, which should be enough to sink his changes of winning the recall election, the Kochs notwithstanding. (A hillbilly can dream, no?)

    •  immunity?! what on Earth for? (0+ / 0-)

He's the big fish at the top of the food chain: the thing that all this busting the small fish below him leads up to.

That or the big fish they're after has a four-letter last name that starts with K.

I'd trade one Walker for two Koches if it was up to me.

A Walker in hand is worth two Koches in the cell:-)

"Minus two votes for the Democrat" equals "plus one vote for the Republican." Arithmetic doesn't care about your feelings.

      •  If he's the target and they have something on him, (0+ / 0-)

then absolutely, no immunity. But if he has underlings who are dirty and the worst they can pin on him is a misprison charge (I've seen them pull that one before, believe it or not), then make him testify in the grand jury and at trial if he has knowledge about wrong doing.
There is a better than 50/50 chance that he is not a target or even a subject. He is a ham handed, disgusting piece of human excrement, but that's not criminal.
I'd love to see him go down, which is my first hope. But my second choice is a more reasonable scenario. Nota bene that I haven't talked with anyone in the know in Wisconsin, so I'm just basing this on a guess as to Scotty Boy's possible culpabilty from 30 years of practicing criminal law.
