I think its great she's sticking with her core principles.  Of course, I'm also hoping Scott Brown is re-elected.

    •  Why? (7+ / 0-)

Why do you hope Brown is re-elected?

      Serious question.

    •  For heaven's sake, why? (8+ / 0-)

And if you are a Brown supporter, what are you doing here?

    •  I think that might be HR worthy (1+ / 0-)

Supporting a Republican on this site is not kosher. At all. More and better Democrats is the goal. Not backing opportunistic right wing assholes.

Nothing brings people together more than mutual hatred.

I'First, sorry for the delay but I wasn't on the site for a while.

        1.  I am a conservative and while my (soon to be) ex-wife and teenage daughter may think I'm an occasional asshole I do try to keep it under control.

For example, I never assume someone is a fascist or asshole simply because of their political views.  So for example, Hannibal I wouldn't assume you were an asshole brown-shirt just because you hold liberal positions that defy logic.  Misguided sure, but asshole?  Then again, in my experience people who call other people fascists based on 1 post tend to be assholes.

Damn, this is more difficult than I thought.

        2.  I support Scott Brown over Elizabeth Warren because I think people like Warren are destroying our economy and are far too comfortable with expanding governmental power while eroding individual liberties.  Though, I question whether saying I'd vote for him (I used to live in Massachusets, but that was many years ago) really deserves banning.

I want Brown re-elected so the new Romney administration will have control of the Senate and the House so they'll have a better chance to implement their agenda. (Oh, I can't wait for the response that item).  I mean he's no Rubio, but really who is?

        3.  I'm a regular on Kos because I think it is important to understand the issues from different perspectives.  There are occasionally good ideas posted here and though I disagree with the overwhelming majority of the posts it is important to understand an issue from all sides so you can make an informed choice and/or support your own position.  After all, if everyone agrees on everything (more taxes, yay!, more spending rah!, Dich Cheney is Satan booyah!) why even bother to talk about things since all you are doing is having a mutual masturbation club?

but you took a while to respond.

Promoting the election of republicans on this site is bannable.

You can disagree, but if you want to give control of the senate to Romney, you are on the wrong site.

Your comment in itself can also be HR'd. Clearly so.

          •  Too fine a reading (0+ / 0-)

I would think actively pushing GOP candidates would be bannable - simply stating why I hold a personal view or believe a Dems position to be logically flawed I wouldn't think would be bannable, nor should it be.
