    at skeptical science, which is an excellent web ressource that should be always checked. Oh that also goes for Frank Knarf (hi there!) - anyone can access that info and lots of basic questions are answered there. Yours specifically, here. One of the best jump tables I have seen here (one page up).

    Good thing about skeptical science s that they are very much alive - i. e. actively on top of developments - not falling into outdatedness as quite some other sites. Real Climate is good too of course but less well organized for outsiders and beginners. It expects a lot of previous knowledge.

      you say, not great for beginners. The links provided are very good, I guess my only comment is that other sources (not skeptic or denier sites) have not been as conclusive that all interglacials coincide with changes in Milankovitch cycles. (This is just from memory.) I do love the quote at the end regarding interglacials and CO2:
