    ... than the too-big-too-fail gang who, as Sen. Durbin once said, "own the place."

    Traditional banking is taking deposits and making loans, you know, the old-fashioned function of banks before the psychotic, maximum leveraged trading-for-profit motive overtook the industry and destroyed its image upon the fall of Glass-Steagall act.

    Who knows, this may be a coalition of smaller banks who just might hate the too-big-too-fail crowd as much as (or more than) we do.

    The article was very poorly written in that it did not provide any of that context or explanation as to what segment of the industry they are representing, or who the "enemies" are.  I guess when you're in a trade publication that kisses the industry's toes, that kind of sloppy journalism is OK.

    Also loved her description of Citizen United as an "innovation".  Good gawd.
