that particular rule for its intended purpose (to get emergency legislation through quickly, so that emergencies need not last long), and abusing it for everyday bills.

Two totally different things, but the MSM simply equates the two, being too stupid to look beneath the surface and too lazy to try.

Not at all, at least not the "leadership" from whom all directives are handed down once they have been issued by their billionaire owners.

The Pukes are stupid in many ways but the exercise of political chutzpah isn't one of them. Of course, it's easy to be daring when those who own you also own the referees. That is to say the press, envisioned by the founders as the agency of political supervision that would have every incentive to keep the process honest. The problem the founders had was they couldn't quite conceive of the vast personal wealth that would enable tiny cabals of amoral monsters to completely game the system and turn the nation into nothing more or less than the plaything of ultra wealthy, delusional sociopaths.

What they don't understand is the state of their own personal freedom is nil, since they have literally sold and prostituted themselves to the narrow yet outrageous agenda of Billionaire Fascists, the day will come when they have plenty time to reflect on the sad fact that not only have they sold out the freedom of their countrymen and women, but in the process, they have lost their own.
