Are we possibly "enabling" Zarelli in making inappropriate lifestyle choices?

Zarelli said he injured his back while on a ship and the pain is now chronic, though he is still able to golf, hike and fish — and he spends much of his free time maintaining his six-acre property in Ridgefield, Clark County. He said he's learned various ways to manage the pain over time.

"You can do a lot of things — but you pay the price," Zarelli said. "For a while, every so often, my back would simply go out on me and I couldn't move."

He clearly knows that the golfing, hiking, fishing and puttering around his property can be done to excess, resulting in relapse of his condition. How much does our tax payer contribution of over $7,000 per year enable him to continue these unhealthy practices?

is a lifestyle choice I wouldn't wish on anybody.  Perhaps we should start ex-crazed right-wing legislator camps, and encourage them to attend.  Then we can have "cured" right wing loons talk on left-wing radio shows about how the crazed right wing alternative lifestyle is wrong and goes against God, and how they've seen the light.
