IL-17 was, I'm pretty confident, a Kerry district, and not just by 0.1 or 0.2%.

Bustos won't lack money (EMILY's List, although I would've liked to see her face a tougher primary to prepare her for a tough general), and Schilling's no moderate.

Non-moderates don't survive in Kerry districts, especially with Obama atop the ballot.

Because Bustos, though she has good establishment backing and I expect her efforts will be quite well funded, is fairly untested and Rep. Schilling is one of those obnoxious "rising star" Class of 2010 incumbents who will probably get a lot of Koch and NRCC money to match her. I do like her a lot, though; investigative journalism backgrounds tend to appeal to me. Easy on the eyes, too.
