Surely there must be ONE honest Republican in AZ!
Not one with statewide prominence.  It's becoming quite the widening scandal.  He could go traditional and pick Gov. Brewer but she's very "meh" - they vote for her because she's a Governor with an (R) but I don't think anybody gets excited about her.  Babeu is definitely going down and Arpaio will stay in office until the bitter end, even if the feds get enough court orders to effectively sideline him and get a special master appointed.  So I suspect that he'll quietly shift to Brewer because unfortunately Arizona is not really in play this cycle, he can run a quiet patronage campaign with Brewer and do no harm or he can possibly create national controversy with his other potential patrons.  He'll go with a traditional quiet campaign, I bet.

Now that I'm thinking out loud, since the Romney "campaign" in Arizona is essentially just going to be a checking account to funnel money and volunteers to national, he may well appoint Kyl or McCain.
