  •  Ah.... if only... if only... (0+ / 0-)

Rhetoric could fill someone stomach, pay the bills, or provide healthcare, our problems would be solved:

OBAMA: And I believe in God's command to love thy neighbor as thyself. And when I talk about shared responsibility, it's because I genuinely believe that in a time when many folks are struggling, at a time when we have enormous deficits, it's hard for me to ask seniors on a fixed income or young people with student loans or middle-class families who can barely pay the bills, to shoulder the burden alone."
Such beautiful rhetoric, like a sweet lullaby.

And a sweet lullaby it is.

But somehow, inexplicably, the appointment of Wall Street Banksters as Chiefs of Staff, the public defending of Wall Street, the creation of a Cat Food Commission staffed by anti-working class / anti-poor zealots...

Somehow.. those deeds... just don't match the fk'ing rhetoric.

You know whose else loves Obama's rhetoric?

    Wall Street & the 1%.

Rhetoric never cost them a fking dime.

There is a reason that Obama's Chiefs of Staff come from Wall Street Banks. And it has nothing to do with Change We Can Believe In.
