  •  I remember when we first got a CD-ROM drive. (8+ / 0-)

    And got a little rack for the jewel cases.

    Dad was convinced that even with the CDs that came with the drive, we weren't going to need more space than that.

    Cue a few years later, when the 10 CD multipacks started being sold, CD music caught on, games stopped coming on floppy, and the price of CD burners became affordable...

    We have more 48+ capacity disc binders and cases between us now than there were slots in the 'will last forever' CD holder.
