    and Commodore. Supposedly the money guy that had saved Commodore in the past, Irving Gould, balked at Tramiel's insistence of building a 32 bit machine. Gould is also accused of lowering product quality to increase margin.

    Well, I been around the world, and I've been in the Washington Zoo. And in all my travels, as the facts unravel, I've found this to be true.... ...they don't give a f^ck about anybody else

      At least, that's what he would be called today.  He used to manipulate his own company's stock, and found he could make as much if not more money doing that rather than the tediously dreary work of actually developing and building stuff.

      OBTW, after Tramiel left, he tried to buy Amiga, Inc., the company that created the Amiga computer.  Naturally, he was not negotiating in good faith, so Amiga were quite happy to be acquired by...  Commodore.

      Tramiel was rumored to be perturbed by this :-).
