My first computer was an Atari 600XL which I got for dirt-cheap after Tramiel's acquisition of Atari. I had it and the Atari 1010 cassette drive. I upgraded the next year to a Commodore 64. I used the Commodore 64 throughout junior high and high school. I even ran a dial-up BBS using my C64 and an Enhancer 2000 floppy disk drive (it was a clone of the Commodore 1541). Ditched the C64 because the power supply went bad and the C64 was no longer supported.
