    Knarfc the traditional manufacturing heartland of our country, the upper Midwest.  That's the reason for the perception, and that's the visible reality of it.  It's just that the initial migration of manufacturing was domestic, to the so-called New South, for a couple of decades before it was outsourced outright.

    But nobody's buying flowers from the flower lady.
