    about being bullied in school.  Outside of school there are police officers and security guards to answer to.  But I had to go to school, and I felt like a safe educational environment was my right, but one that got violated.

    I do agree that it's concerning to have things outside of school lead to punishment in school.

    I mentioned my parents in two other posts but the real blame should go to school personnel, who actually saw it and did nothing about it.  One bully sent me flying into a table, with me and the table both rolling over in class.  The teacher responded by ignoring the bully and sending me outside for being too disruptive in class.  And my parents took her side when I told them later at home.

    Like I said...what should have been my support system utterly failed me.  Basically I didn't have one.
