No one said motherhood isn't work. Have you actually bothered to look at what she did say?

With respect to economic issues, I think actually that Mitt Romney is right, that ultimately women care more about the economic well-being of their families and the like. But he doesn't connect on that issue either. What you have is Mitt Romney running around the country saying, 'Well, you know my wife tells me that what women really care about are economic issues and when I listen to my wife that's what I'm hearing.'

Guess what? His wife has actually never worked a day in her life. She's never really dealt with the kinds of economic issues that a majority of the women in this country are facing in terms of how do we feed our kids, how do we send them to school and  why do we worry about their future.

Now please, pretty please, show me where she attacked Ann Romney for being a stay-at-home mother.

I've been at work all day and come home and I read someone said Ann Romney hadn't worked a day in her   life (which I thought was true and I hoped it would be another example of how Romney is disconnected from average people) and there's this controversy..

But I didn't know the full comment until now..

I agree with you - she didn't say being a mother isn't work and she wasn't criticizing stay at home mothers.

The Republicans are not the party of family values or the party of stay at home mothers. How many parents could afford to stay at home due to Republican opposition to universal health care, a living minimuim wage, free trade bills that send jobs overseas, and a regressive tax code??

A Mitt Romney administration would result in fewer people being able to stay at home with their kids, if that's what they want to do.

Of course, now that the Republican primary is over Mitt Romney will at some point flip flop on lots of issues..His whole history is to do and say whatever he must to get ahead. He stands for nothing but self-interest.

At this point, far more people have now been arrested for protesting Wall Street's mortgage fraud crimes than have been for committing and presiding over them.
