I doubt that Clinton was ever disliked by 58% of Democratic voters.

Please back up your numbers by facts.

Clinton was never, never anything like Mitt.

The rea test for Mitt will be in May in WV and KY and AR.  How badly will Mitt do in those primaries even though all his opponents (except the Paultard) will have dropped out.

I'm hoping Mitt does something "moderate" soo and even manages to lose one of those three states.

      •  I understood it perfectly (0+ / 0-)

The fact remains that among the American electorate in general, Bill Clinton had a higher unfavorable rating than Romney, meaning he was liked less, hence the rather convoluted elocutions of the "popularity" themed posts.

Bottom line: Bill Clinton was a less popular presumptive nominee than Mitt Romney.

        •  Then your post makes no sense (0+ / 0-)

And your 'bottom line" are completely wrong.

          •  Let me break it down for you (0+ / 0-)

            1) Bill Clinton had lower favorability numbers among the general electorate than Mitt Romney

            2) Daily Kos wants to see Obama get reelected (as they should) and are trying to portray Romney as one of the most unpopular nominees in modern history

            3) Unfortunately the fact that Bill Clinton's favorability numbers (again) among the general electorate were worse than Romney's at a similar time in the election cycle complicates this story

            4) Hence, the headlines that have talked about how unpopular Romney is historically have done so using somewhat elusive constructions all of which avoid the fact that Bill Clinton was more unpopular with the general public

Hopefully that's clear enough to digest easily.

Reading comprehension fail you must be experiencing.  Try giving the entire diary another more careful read.

Again, you are just asserting complete fiction.

Again, Clinton's favorability was far higher with the general electorate than Romney's... -14 a lot better than -25

Besides reading the diary more carefully, you need to read the old polls and the new ones to see reality, because your assertions are anti-reality.
